Several members of the SIAM Student Chapter at SDSU will be attending the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM) 2026, one of the largest international conferences in mathematics. We would like to wish them the best of luck as they prepare to represent our chapter, network with researchers, and explore new academic and professional opportunities.

The JMM 2026 will take place in Washington, DC, bringing together students, faculty, and industry professionals from around the world to share ideas, attend talks, and build collaborations.

Event Information

  • Travel Dates: January 3–7, 2026
  • Conference Dates: January 4–7, 2026
  • Location: Walter E. Washington Convention Center
801 Allen Y. Lew Place NW, Washington, DC 20001

As part of the experience, participants will take part in a group photo and contribute to a trip summary to share highlights and takeaways with the rest of the chapter.

We encourage our attendees to make the most of this opportunity—attend talks, connect with fellow mathematicians, and represent SIAM SDSU with pride. We look forward to hearing about your experiences when you return!

Best wishes for a successful and inspiring JMM 2026 ✨
